The Eastmont Community Center (ECC) and AmeriCorps members have made a significant impact in East Los Angeles and the Inland Empire by providing free tax preparation services, completing 1,109 tax returns and returning over 1 million dollars to the community.
This partnership, now in its second year, also led to the distribution of over 38,160 pounds of food and the recruitment of 87 new volunteers.
ECC continues to expand its reach, particularly in underserved areas like the Inland Empire, where free tax services are scarce, reaffirming their commitment to supporting and empowering their community.
